Mini Series Pitch

Producers Pitch

Mini Series

Director: _____________

Working Title of Series: __________

·       Your Pitch should include most of these elements:

·       A "Logline" is a one or two sentence description that tells the basic premise and purpose of a TV show idea. The one-liner that tells and sells your show. In addition to having a great title and synopsis, the Logline is the core concept you are pitching Producers

·       A Trailer

·       Part of a script

·       Part of a story board

·       Collections of storytelling photos

The Main plot: Discuss in broad strokes what your series is about where you want to go with it, potential storylines and character arcs and entanglements (even for a documentary or a reality show). You want to make sure you have clearly established the tone.  It is often helpful to use shows that people are familiar with.

1st Episode: Discuss what the pilot-episode of your show looks like. Your pilot needs to serve as an example of what a typical episode would look like (i.e. an example of a closed ended story and examples of character conflicts.)
